No matter how famous or well-known someone is during their life, their final resting places are often a lot more simple in nature.
Below is a gallery of some of the more well know people I have visited to pay my respects to.
Martin Ruane (Giant Haystacks)
The grave of Martin A. Ruane, A.K.A Giant Haystacks.
He was one of the best-known wrestlers on the British wrestling scene in the 1970s and 1980s.
Ruane was known for his massive physical size, billed as standing 2.11 m (6 ft 11 in) tall and weighing from 31 stone (430 lb; 200 kg) at the beginning of his career to 48 stone (670 lb; 300 kg) by the end of it; at his heaviest, he weighed 49 stone 13 pounds (699 lb; 317 kg).

Paul Massey
The Grave of Paul Massey (7 January 1960 – 26 July 2015) was an English organised crime figure and Salford-based businessman. He was shot dead outside his home by Mark Fellows on 26 July 2015.

Alfred Wallis
Alfred Wallis (18 August 1855 – 29 August 1942) was a British fisherman and artist known for his port landscapes and shipping scenes painted in a naïve style.
Having no artistic training, he began painting at the age of 70, using household paint on scraps of cardboard.
He achieved little commercial success, although his work was championed by progressive artists such as Ben Nicholson and Christopher Wood.
