York is in my top three places in the UK which I love to visit and I tend to get up there three or four times a year and each visit seems to bring something new for me to see.

More often than not, I end up at the Minster, however this time I had a different target in mind, the annual Ghosts in the Garden exhibit.
The ghosts are actually sculptures which have been formed from narrow gage wire mesh and are formed into a variety of different ‘people’ such as a headmaster, a knight, a monk and even a full size horse.
The ghosts were dotted around the city, which meant I got to see some places I had not visited before including the Artists house and Barley Hall.
Despite the fact I had created a map showing me the rough area of each ghost, there were still some that I did not manage to find and some who’s photos I had to discard when I got home as they were just too ghostly and it was impossible to work out what they were!
