Normally the Christmas period for me involves staying close to home and generally having some time to rest and relax at the end of another year of life, this year however was different.
My sister and her partner were good enough to invite me with them (and the dog) down to Devon to have a different sort of Christmas to what I am used to.
We stayed in a lovely little village called Woolacombe which has some of the most scenic beach walks I have ever been on, even on very windy days which we had a few of at the start of the stay due to the tail end of a named storm passing through!
The week itself was a mixture of staying around the village, walks around the area and visits to some of the surrounding villages, so my photos below cover the following areas:-
- Woolacombe Bay
- Lee Bay
- Verity and Ilfracombe
- Arlington Court
- Lynmouth
