I used to pop into Bridgewater on a regular basis a few years ago and really made use of the annual membership, as I used to work around the corner, sadly after leaving that role, I am no longer able to go on as much as I would like (or as much as I should to make use of the membership), for the past two years I have only managed to get over to see the Christmas lights.
With this weekend being the weekend before my long drive down to Cornwall, I did not have anything planned for the day, however as the weather was still nice I decided to pop over to see what had changed.
I think I caught the gardens at the right time as there was plenty still in bloom however you can see that autumn is on the way and the flowers are starting to turn.
It was rather busy so this time I did not manage to get my regular tea and scone, however I am sure there will be plenty on offer next week down in Cornwall.
All in all, it was a nice couple of hours wandering in the sun and I will try to get back there more regularly going forward.
