As documented multiple times already on the site, I like to make an annual pilgrimage down to Cornwall, probably the place that I am most happy and hopefully a place I can retire too when the time comes, if I get that far in life as its a way off yet.
Anyhow, as with all my trips down there, each new day brings a new place visited and as such, here is a collection of images from some of those places, which include:
- Boscastle (mainly to visit the Museum of witchcraft)
- Bude (technically not in Cornwall, but I stopped near here for a few nights on the way home to delay the inevitable return to normality)
- Charlestown
- Crantock (Very rude people in the church, who said nothing as I walked past them to enter the church, but then complained “that I was disturbing a wedding practice” as I was leaving (after being very quiet whilst inside)
- Ilfracombe (again, not in Cornwall, but a stopping point enroute to the main holiday to visit Verity)
- Looe
- Mevagissey (Perhaps my favourite Cornish harbour village)
- Minac Theatre (to see
Miss Benson’s Beetle)
- St Ives
