The last of the Christmas traditions this year was my annual trip to see Chatsworth House dressed up for the festive season.
Normally I get there earlier in the month, however due to some work commitments, this trip ended up being only a couple of days before the big day.
Once again, despite there being multiple video walkthroughs available on Youtube, I decided to stay spoiler free and not look at what the theme for the year was (in the end, this was a good decision as the theme was fairies, which had I known may have kept me from going.)
Each room apparently had a little video animation featuring a fairy in a glass dome, however as stated, this is not really my thing so I did not bother seeking any of them out.
I don’t know if it’s just me having a bit of burn out with going each year, but for some reason I did not really feel that impressed with the decorations this year so I may have to have a strong thought about if I go again next year or if I just give it a miss for a year and be refreshed in 2027.
Time will tell…..
